This holiday season, we are offering some old world charm and have created a limited amount of Winter Spice Beeswax Ornaments.
Beeswax ornament making is a tradition that has existed for centuries, originating with German bakers in the 1500's who made the ornaments by pouring the wax into gingerbread molds. The ornaments were popular at a Christmas German market and went on the become a tradition around the world.
We have infused our beeswax with fragrant cinnamon chips, star anise, clove buds and vanilla to then create beautiful ornaments to then hang with honey comb designed satin ribbon. This will allow you to hang them on your Christmas tree or anywhere in the house. No need to pack them away after the holidays as they will be lovely kept out on display.
They do require some minor care. Please keep them away from heat and sunlight as they can melt and fade. Keep away from pets and children that may think they are a tasty treat. Do not lay them on surfaces that could have dirt or pet hair. Store them properly and away from heat if your going to save them for next season. Should they become dirty, you can wash them "gently" in cool water with mild soap to clean but this could wash away the fragrant spices.
These are made with pure beeswax without added oils, no fragrance or preservatives. They are not appropriate for wax melters and should only be used for decor.
You will receive a pair of beeswax ornaments that are nestled in a gift box, pre strung with satin ribbon and with an informative label on the underside of the box.
