Wild Flower Honey Bee Blend Seeds

We are offering a gracious packet of our own seeds from our farm that contain a blend of  marigold, sunflower, calendula, zinna and black eyed susan.

All of these seeds are hand collected from our own plants grown on sight and are organic, non GMO and are heirloom.  These flowers will grow healthy, attract honey bees and butterfl.

All of these flowers are edible!  They are also easy to collect seeds from after blooming to then be saved and planted to increase your crop.  This blend makes wonderful long lasting cut flowers too.

Our French Marigold is one of the few marigolds these days that have not been tampered with and still attract bees. The petals are edible and can be used in decorative ice cubes, garnish or blended into green salads or used in baking. These seeds come from a family of marigolds that are over 15 years old on site.

The sunflower offers edible petals, edible seeds and the leaf can be cooked down in a stir fry. These sunflower leaves can additionally be cooked like kale chips, juiced or add to stews and enhance broths. These seeds come from a long line of "mammoth" sunflowers.

Calendula is a wonderful healing herb and the dried flowers make a wonderful herbal tea. The raw flowers can be eaten in salads, added to batter, pancakes or muffins.  These seeds are from the same medicinal plants that we use for skin products, tea and tinctures.

Zinnia makes a wonderful dried flower, long lasting cut flowers and the petals are edible. Pinks, purples and yellows are mixed in to give you a colorful surprise! These seeds come from a long family line that originated from family members in Texas, over 15 years ago.

Black Eyed Susan offers medicinal roots that have similar properties to Echinacia. The petals are edible and can be used just like the marigold.  This seed is native to Florida and originally wild crafted in West Florida several years ago.

Sprinkle seeds randomly in garden bed and cover lightly (1/4 inch) with soil. Keep soil moist until they sprout in about 7 days up to 10 days.  Full sun and sandy soil is perfect for this beneficial flower blend.  These will grow in pots, planters and direct into the garden.

Each of these flowers have a history with our family and are grown wild on our property and used in our daily lives.  We hope that you will enjoy this wonderful Wild Flower Honey Bee Blend as much as we do.

Each packet contains approximately 300 seeds.
