We offer simple and clean Beard Co-Washes that are specifically made for facial hair. It is gentle as it cleans without stripping the natural oils.
This wash is made with sustainable organic unrefined coconut oil that is saponified to create a rich soap free cleanser that will not strip your natural oils or dry out your skin. Saponification is a fancy word that describes the process that involves the conversion of plant oil into a cleanser with alkali. The pH level of this cleanser is approximately 5.5 which is different from detergents that work against your beard and skin. Your beard cleanser is just as important as your balms and oils. If you use the wrong cleanser, then you are tossing your money away with trying to keep up with the damage that it can cause.
Here in Florida, just rinsing your beard with water daily is not good enough but using a beard wash daily can be overkill. This Co-wash is to be used daily or in between your regular beard wash to gently cleanse the daily sweat, salts and grime. Hours of heat, sports and outdoor work will breakdown your natural oils, beard oils and beard balms within the same day. Trapped pollen, dirt and bacteria are not only unhealthy for you and your beard but its unhealthy to the ones that are close to you. Its necessary to gently cleanse and reapply your beard products daily. Now, if you work indoors with climate control, then you may be able to get away with less products and reapplications.
This cleanser is made with simple ingredients for a reason as it will allow you a good wash with a neutral lather without scent and it will allow you to apply your favorite themed beard product afterwards. No need to allow the cleanser to soak....it works fast. Work it in gently and then rinse right out.
This cleanser is VERY concentrated and you will only need a dime size amount at a time.

This cleanser is good for all stages and if you ever decide to shave it all off...continue using it as a gentle clean shaven skin cleanser.
