We offer two types of orange raw honey that is infused with organic oranges that will remind you of Florida orange blossoms and sweet citrus.
It is unfortunate that our orange groves here in Florida are becoming smaller and smaller with making our long time "Orange blossom honey" becoming very hard to find. The groves that still exist are now being covered in pesticides in order to protect the crops from pests and to maximize the crop. The pesticides are endangering the bees and additionally contaminating the honey.
Our farm has access to a small grove of citrus trees that are on private land and without treatment. The oranges and the blossoms are harvested by hand to then be preserved and used to create a replica of our traditional Florida favorite via cold infusion.
It is created over several weeks to naturally extract the essential oils from the fruit, zesty peel and blossoms, to then create a robust and flavorful artisan raw honey.
This honey takes some time to make due to the cold process which allows us to preserve all the health benefits from the honey without exposing it to heat. We do not add any artificial ingredients or artificial flavors.
This is an excellent honey to use for cooking, flavoring drinks or add some spunk to mixed drinks.
Goes well with herbal teas such as hibiscus, our Immunity Tea and chamomile.
Orange blossom products are seasonal and are limited to the hand harvest. We also offer a hand crafted orange blossom essence that is used for natural fragrance.
