We use our herbs for all kinds of things and especially for cooking!
We have a few Culinary blends that are quite popular with the locals that are offered on a seasonal basis. We do grow our herbs on site and organically which makes them perfect for the traditional use in foods.
With the herbs being fresh dried, you will be amazed with the colors, the powerful fresh scent and how much longer that they last. You may not need to use as much due to the freshness, when cooking.
We do not add any coloring, no added fragrance, no preservatives and no fillers.
Garlic Salt - On occasion, we will have a bumper crop of garlic that we can dehydrate and powder to then make a potent garlic salt.
Italian Herb Blend - Home grown organically fresh herbs that include oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary and parsley. This really is the most universal blend and goes well with all meats, pasta and rice dishes. It makes an amazing herb butter!
Season Salt - A very strong blend of savory spices with only a pinch or two needed to add amazing flavor! This is made with activated charcoal, sea salt, onion, garlic, celery seed, peppercorn, paprika, cumin and turmeric.
Lemon Pepper - Made with seasonal local lemons that are dehydrated and then powdered to then be blended with fresh ground peppercorn, sea salt and fresh dried parsley.
Each packet of powdered herbs is just over 2 ounces, so about 5 full tablespoons. This should fill most standard seasoning shakers and is the standard amount for most store bought season containers. If kept in an airtight container, they will easily last a year before losing full flavor.
I tried the seasoned salt and stevia. I’m loving it. I used the seasoned salt for some chicken and my family was like what did you do differently with the chicken? It’s delicious. I tried the seasoning salt. It’s a keeper. I use the stevia in my teas and loving it so far no after taste.
