Elderberry Jelly

We are blessed to have our own wild native Elderberries that offer us continuous crops throughout the season. With the extra berries, we are able to offer up a rich jam that is made with our berries, raw organic cane sugar and a light amount of pectin.

Elderberries do not contain natural pectin like most fruits and berries and is needed for a jam or jelly to "set" and thicken.

No additives, no corn syrup, no added flavoring or preservatives.  These jars are hot processed for stability and can be stored in the pantry for up to a year. Once the jar is opened and the seal is released, then it will need to be kept in the refrigerator.

Our Elderberries as well as all our other plants are grown on our land, sustainably collected and are organically maintained. Berries are collected by hand, rinsed with unchlorinated water and carefully removed off the stem. Once we have enough berries collected, they are then juiced by hand with immediately batching the jelly the same day. Making elderberry jelly from start to finish is labor intensive but the end product is worth it!

This is a pure jelly without seeds or flesh.

8 oz (half pint) volume mason canning jar with metal screw top lid.

I absolutely love elderberry jam. My dad used to make this as a kid growing up so it reminds me of that. It is absolutely delicious
