Tincture - Elderberry

Elderberry (sambucas nigra) boosts the immune system to help fight off colds, flu, respiratory issues, sinus issues, encourage healthy skin and assists with allergies.

"At the Bundesforschungsanstalt research center for food in Karlsruhe, Germany, scientists conducting studies on Elderberry showed that elderberry enhancd immune function by boosting the production of cytokines. These unique proteins act as messengers in the immune system to help regulate immune response, thus helping to defend the body against disease. Further research indicated that anthocyanins found in elderberries possesses more antioxidant capacity than either vitamin E or vitamin C."

Most people will start taking Elderberry at the start  of cold and flu season and continue to use it daily until the coast is clear and that the season has passed. This is an excellent preventative measure to help prevent from becoming sick. Use the maintenance dosage as a prevention and do a booster if you have been directly exposed or feel possible symptoms of sickness.

This tincture is made with wild crafted organic elderberries and as with all products, made in house. We grow Elderberry on site, de-stem by hand and air dry naturally to then be made into a tincture by traditional methods.   This is a pure concentrated tincture with no additives, no color and no preservatives.

Comes in a glass dropper bottle and the shelf life is over one year. No refrigeration required. This is adult strength and can be taken daily as a preventative with the maintenance dose of one dropper full in a beverage per day.

Take the elderberry tincture within 48 hours of symptoms of cold or flu. Up to three full dropper full's per day can be taken over five days for medicinal strength.  Elderberry can most certainly be used on a daily maintenance basis to not only help protect from cold and flu but it does offer several more wellness benefits.  Some of our clients have expressed a difference with less allergy symptoms, better skin, improves heart health and could improve blood vessels.

We recommend a combination of Elderberry and Echinacea, should you be suffering from a severe cold or flu.

Please take care when using herbal remedies and products. We highly recommend reading our page regarding "Precautions and Contradictions" and additionally, "What is a Tincture?".

Love this ticture

Like I do all the ones I tried. This last round of sickness that went through the household, I had a scratchy throat for a day and then I was better. I know this helped me keep from getting full blown sick.
