Herbal Coffee, No Coffee Blend

A healthy alternative to drinking traditional coffee with beneficial herbs and no caffeine.

Not everyone is able to have coffee as some are super sensitive, to much can cause heart palpation's  and anxiety. Drinking this herbal brew will help to give you the satisfaction of a bold cup of brew without the side effects and with additional wellness benefits.

Made with roasted chicory root, roasted dandelion root, rooibos, cinnamon chips, raw cacoa nibs and licorice. The herbs are specially roasted in house to give this blend its bold taste and aroma. All of the herbs are organically grown.

This is a medium dark roast coffee replacement that can be enjoyed on its own, as a Chai or blend with your own personal coffee bean. You can absolutely blend this 50/50 with fresh ground coffee to substitute the amounts that you normally like to drink.  When brewed on its own, it is a dark rich bold beverage that replicates traditional coffee.

It offers a similar aroma to fresh ground coffee  and can be enjoyed with cream and sweetener, just like traditional coffee.  Brew it in a coffee press or use your herbal tea accessories with 1 Tablespoon per 1 cup of very hot to boiling water and steep for 10 to 15 minutes.

Chicory is in the Dandelion family and the root is commonly used as a coffee substitute.  This herbal root is composed of a 68% inulin composition. Inulin is a prebiotic that supports weight loss and gut health while reducing glucose absorption. Chicory is noted to help lower LDL cholesterol, support heart health and is anti-inflammatory. Studies have proven that chicory significantly reduces both blood sugar and insulin levels.

Dandelion is mostly known as a detoxifying herb and supports liver, kidney and gallbladder function.  Some compounds in dandelion may decrease triglyceride and cholesterol levels, both of which are key risk factors for heart disease. This herb additionally helps to regulate blood sugar.

Rooibos offers a lovely earthy taste which blends really well with both chicory and dandelion root.  It offers top notch antioxidants that are important for a healthy heart, healthy skin, vascular inflammation and help control the blood sugar. It offers trace minerals as well as a natural fluoride and copper.

We have included cinnamon chips that you will not necessarily taste but is being used to balance out the two bitter herbs, chicory and dandelion. Cinnamon offers many benefits as well as being tasty!

Raw cacao nibs give it a boost of velvety richness and also shows to blend well with the above herbs.  Well known for being highly antioxidant, help with blood sugar, curb food cravings, high in flavonoids and excellent for diabetics.

We are using a small percentage of licorice root, which you will see as a yellowish tan fine shredding in the blend. It contains hundreds of beneficial compounds but its mostly known for its glycyrrhizin. This is what gives the root a sweet taste and balances the raw cacao. Licorice root is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and has antimicrobial properties.

All in all, this is a dynamite blend that is useful in so many ways!

When drinking this herbal coffee on its own, you may taste a slight bitterness. Craving bitter foods can be a sign of the heart needing balancing, or too much excess heat in the body. This has been shown that some people experience restlessness, irritability, anxiety and insomnia. Embrace the bitter as it may benefit you with drinking this coffee without doctoring it up.
If you’re just looking for a coffee replacement, go ahead and doctor your brew as normal with creamer, honey, Stevia, sweetener or maple syrup.

You will receive a bag that should give you 16 servings at 1 level tablespoon per cup.

Love this bold tea and very energizing! It has that roasty taste reminiscent of coffee and gives you boost, but no crash ;)
