Herbal Mouth Rinse

We offer an all natural Herbal Mouth Rinse that can be used throughout the day or after brushing.

Using beneficial herbs instead of alcohol and flavoring, can truly make a difference with your oral health.  They not only taste good but ARE good!

They are concentrated blends and allow you to either use straight from the bottle for a very strong medicinal dose or you may keep a little shot glass handy to allow you to dilute at a 50/50 ratio with water.

A medicinal dose can be used when your are experiencing issues such as inflamed gums, bacterial infections or canker sores. The diluted dose is more for routine preventative care.

We offer a Turmeric & Clove rinse (Very strong concentrate) that offers additional oral wellness herbs such as chamomile and cayenne.  Don't let the cayenne scare you as its prepared just right to not cause severe discomfort. Curcumin in turmeric can prevent gingivitis, or gum disease. It has been shown to help remove plaque and bacteria. Clove is widely used for tooth and gum pain, bad breath from bacteria and throat infections. Chamomile is an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory which helps to sooth. The cayenne stimulates blood flow and circulation which is important for good oral health.

We offer a concentrated Lavender & Sage rinse as another oral rinse that is very gentle and soothing. Lavender is anti fungal, antibacterial and soothes both physically and mentally. Sage has antimicrobial effects, which can neutralize microbes that can cause dental plaque. Sage offers  anti-inflammatory properties that may also help heal swollen gums and treat the infection. Even though lavender is a gentle floral, it is still required to dilute this blend when using as an oral rinse. Using it undiluted may not give you the pleasant taste that is usually associated with lavender.

You don't have to have oral health issues to be able to enjoy our Herbal Mouth Rinse. It's a great addition to your daily routine as preventative care and not worry about saccharin, synthetic dye or other unwanted additives that are normally found in mouth wash and rinses. Keep in mind, you are basically administering anything that is held in the mouth, and especially under the tongue, sublingualy.  You may benefit from this with herbs but not so much with chemicals.

For children, it must always be diluted at minimum 50% and preferable with a 70% water to 30% rinse ratio.  NOT for children who are unable to properly swish and spit without swallowing.  A diluted dropper may be used and applied to areas 1 drop at a time for young children ages 5 and up and not to exceed 30 drops total without spitting out.  Additionally, adults may utilize an undiluted dropper full to localize oral issues.    Do NOT use the rinse undiluted to treat surgical procedures and stitches. Salt water is best for recent surgical procedures and to follow your oral surgeons directions.

We offer the Herbal Mouth Rinse in an 8 oz volume brown glass bottle with screw top. Please do not add any water into the bottle or it will disrupt the blend.  It can be diluted in a small cup when your ready to use.  Although the dark colored bottle helps to protect the herbs, it is best to use your rinse within 3 months for maximum benefits. Keep the top screwed on and out of reach of children and pets.

Shake well with each use

Turmeric & Clove

Love the flavor. Not overpowering like some minty mouthwashes. I use anytime I feel my gums may be inflamed from eating something I shouldn’t have. Works great!!
