Pesto - Garden to Jar

This is a fresh made pesto that offers greens and herbs that are fresh harvested and immediately processed and made into a beneficial pesto.

This is one of the most tastiest ways to include fresh raw herbs and plants  into your diet and benefit from all the nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, prebiotics and probiotics that our bodies require.

We offer many kinds of blends and it all depends on what we are growing seasonally.

Kohlrabi and Carrot Top - This is a blend that is mostly made with fresh harvested kohlrabi leaf, carrot tops, a hint of cilantro, our raw honey, fresh garlic, sea salt, peppercorn, parmesan, cashews and organic walnuts.

Kale and Arugula - This is a blend of our garden kale leaf and a mild baby arugula, a hint of our cilantro, raw honey, fresh garlic, sea salt, peppercorn, parmesan, cashews and organic walnuts. 

Both pestos work well with chicken, beef, porch, fish, omelets and with vegetables.  It can be divided up and frozen into ice cubes for later use. Of course, no judgement for those that just like to eat spoonfuls straight from the jar!

This is a perishable item for local pick up only. To be kept in the fridge for up to 3 weeks easily or in the freezer for 6 months easily.

When kept in the fridge, the olive oil will solidify. Just place jar on counter for 10-15 minutes and it will return to its original texture.  Return to fridge when not in use. You may give it an occasion quick stir to reincorporate the olive oil to help even out the consistency of the the pesto, should the olive oil and herbs settle and separate. You may add more olive oil to the pesto if you wish and it will not change the shelf life.

This pesto has a fresh, mild flavor. We used it with salmon and pork, so far. Yummy!!
