Sweet Balsamic Elderberry Vinegar is a real delight to use when in the kitchen!
We have chosen a quality dark oak aged organic balsamic vinegar and have infused it with our dark wild crafted elderberries to give it an incredibly bold punch of berry. This wonderful culinary blend will offer just a hint of ceylon cinnamon that enhances the overall bold flavor.
The vinegar has been pasteurized in house with raw cane sugar, in order to stop the fermenting process and give it a stability to allow you to keep it in the pantry and a shelf life of 1 year.
This is a very concentrated vinegar with you only needing a small amount when using in recipes. Please start with a small amount to taste and then work up from there.
Uses - Salad dressings, marinades, glazes, vinaigrette, glazes, enhance gravies, sauces, chili, make bbq sauce, goes well with cheese, a bread dipping blend with olive oil, over berries and other fruits.
Bread dipping - Use 1/4th cup olive oil to 1 TBS elderberry vinegar or to taste. It does separate in the serving bowl, so use fresh crusty Italian bread to swirl it around to then eat.
Salad - Chop up fresh cucumber, firm tomato, sweet onion and cheese crumbles like feta or mozzarella to then blend with the elderberry vinegar. You can drizzle just using the vinegar or you can blend it with a little olive oil. Delicious!
