Here on the ONL Farm we always have sea salt, Epsom salts and baking soda. We use it for cleaning, healing our bodies and for in the outdoors.
This is a super easy bath soak with ingredients that are readily available in the store.
Benefits: Detoxifies, relaxes, soothes skin and is pH balancing. Use this for sunburn, hives, itch, body ache, strains and more.
1 cup of sea salt
1 cup of Epsom salts
1/2 cup of baking soda
8-10 drops (max) of essential oils that are approved for bathing such as lavender, geranium, frankincense, clary sage or ylang ylang.
Blend all the ingredients first, in a bowl. If you're adding the essential oils, be sure to really take the time to blend the EO's into the salts before adding to the tub.
Fill your tub with very warm water and add your bath soak blend. Stir the bath water with your hands to dissolve all the crystals. When water is temperature is pleasing, get in and soak.
Do not use any other products while you are soaking. Soak for 20 minutes and then rinse off in the shower. If you soak too long, then your body may reabsorb the toxins that you have just released.
