Lymph nodes are small, bean shaped immune system glands found throughout the body, with hundreds concentrated in key areas for filtering fluid.
Many of us are familiar with the superficial lymph nodes located in the neck, armpits, under the jaw, behind the ears, groin and on the back of the neck. Swelling can be often detected with self inspection and can indicate that our bodies are fighting an infection. They act as filters for your immune system, trapping harmful substances like bacteria and viruses to prevent them from spreading.
Using our Lymph Flow Roller Ball can help with swollen congested lymph nodes. Apply the roller directly to both healthy and/or swollen lymph nodes to then use gentle manual drainage massage to help move lymph fluid. This product is specifically formulated for fluid build up and congestion.
We recommend to educate yourself and to research the exact gentle massage technique for self massage regarding the lymph nodes.
For a full self treatment, you are to start with your armpits and groin to help unlock the main nodes before moving to the next area. Repeat each massage motion with each treatment area for about 10-15 times. Lymphatic drainage massage uses very light, rhythmic pressure and circular motions to stimulate the nodes, move stagnant fluids, reduce swelling and aiding detoxification. Do not massage nodes that are painful, red, or infected, as this can spread the infection and to only use this product for preventative care and maintenance.
This roller ball is made specifically for the lymph nodes on the body and is not to be used on the face. The ingredients include organic castor bean as the base with jojoba, elderflower, rosemary, spearmint, frankincense and lemon. This blend is also combined with Madagascar celestite stones to enhance the blend and assist with even application.
The absorption rate for this product is approximately 20-30 minutes and can be increased when using on clean skin that is fresh from a warm/hot shower. It is highly recommended to take time for yourself when doing self massage, be in a relaxed quiet atmosphere and to make sure to drink plenty of water afterwards.
